McDonald’s launches Shrek desserts

McDonald's Korea markets the Shrek Dessert Trio throughout this September in tune with the release of Shrek Forever After, the high-profile animation sequel produced by DreamWorks.

The Seoul-based outfit said that the dessert trio is composed of three different items with different price tags ― Green Apple McFlurry, Green Melon Shake and Green Apple Sundae.

``With soft ice cream made from fresh milk, McFlurry and Sundae have the excellent munchy taste of fresh apples and the Shake has the sweet flavor of melon, summer fruit, which can be best enjoyed on hot summer days,'' McDonald's said in a statement.

The Sundae will be available for 1,400 won while the Melon Shake and McFlurry will sell at 1,500 won and 1,900 won, respectively.
