Leading finance ministers and central bank governors from the G-20 nations will discuss how to deal with persistent troublesome issues during the Finance Ministers' and Central Bank Governors' Meeting, scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Busan.

However, the high-profile participants are expected to enjoy themselves off the table, as Korea's cutting-edge technology will wait on them during the two-day meeting in the southern port city.

The G-20 Preparation Committee said Thursday that Hyundai Motors' Equus, a big sedan, will mainly be offered to the ministers and governors as well as German-made BMWs and Benzes.

"Hyundai, along with BMW and Mercedes, proposed offering their vehicles for the meeting, so we plan to distribute them appropriately," a governmental official said.

"It is rare that foreign car sellers provide automobiles in an international meeting taking place in Korea."

The representatives from the 20 wealthy and developed economies of the world will also have the chance to sample the high-speed wireless broadband service.

KT, the nation's second-largest mobile carrier, said that along with the wireless fidelity (WiFi) networks it will offer in major venues for the G-20 meeting, the company would lease the device that transforms WiBro signals to WiFi during the meeting to support approximate 500 press covering the event.

In addition, KT has already set up three touch-based photo browsers at the press center, where members can browse and search event photos and e-mail them.

Samsung Electronics will set up a 3D television exhibition in the lobby of the press center.

CT&T will provide its electronic cars for the meeting.

The Korean world leader in manufacturing electric vehicles said Thursday that its seven "e-Zone" will serve to transport the governors and ministers from their lodgings to the meeting site, which is estimated to be a 1 kilometer distance.

"The vehicles will be used to transport G-20 financial leaders from the Chosun Hotel to the Nurimaru APEC House, where talks are to be held," a company executive said.
