British American Tobacco (BAT) Korea said on Friday that the Seoul-based cigarette producer would recruit employees in the coming months for its marketing, finance and demand chain departments.

College students who are to graduate from a four-year university in any major by February 2011 or recent graduates with two years or less work experience can apply through April 2. There is no age limit.

Eligible candidates can download application forms from the BAT Korea Internet site at www.batkorea.com and submit them to

.

In the past, BAT Korea has typically picked a couple of new recruits twice a year under its two-year Management Trainee Program. This year, the firm aims to increase the number of hires.

After going through the five step process ― application screening, aptitude test, preliminary interview, assessment center and the final interview ― the final winners will be announced in May.

``Our management trainee program is a unique opportunity to develop an international career and gain strong leadership skills under structured and challenging talent development programs,'' BAT Korea's Human Resources Executive Director Anna Dolgikh said.

``BAT Korea is looking for a global leader who can work in a constantly changing business environment and contribute to the company's growth by being open-minded and responsible, having an enterprising spirit, and being able to leverage one's own strength to operate effectively in a truly diverse workplace.''
