Kim Jung-tae, former CEO of Hana Daetoo Securities, has been named as the next Hana Bank president, replacing the incumbent Kim Jong-yeol whose term expires at the end of March, Hana Financial Group said Friday.
A Hana Financial official said the board of directors recently decided to appoint the former head of its brokerage unit to the top post of the country's fourth largest lender. The official said Kim is the right man for the position, saying he served as vice president of Hana Bank's retail business unit as well as other key posts.
