KEB Named Best Provider of CMS, FX Services
Korea Exchange Bank (KEB), the country's sixth largest lender, has been named the ``Best Domestic Provider of Foreign Exchange (FX) Services'' and the ``Best Local Currency Cash Management Services (CMS)'' by Asiamoney, a Hong Kong-based finance news magazine.
In a ceremony in Hong Kong Thursday, Asiamoney honored KEB as the best domestic services provider of FX and CMS in recognition of the bank's strict criteria including competitiveness and innovation of products, efficiency of IT networks and customer services.
With the latest win, the bank has clinched the award of the Best Domestic Provider of FX Services for two years in a row and the award of the Best Local Currency CMS for the third consecutive year.
Asiamoney organizes the award ceremony annually to honor global financial firms such as banks and brokerage houses in 10 categories of financial services.
Early this year, KEB was also named the ``Best Trade Finance Bank'' and the ``Best Foreign Exchange Bank'' in Korea by Global Finance, an international finance news magazine headquartered in New York, for seven years in a row and six years in a row, respectively.
``Our bank stays on a par with global banks in terms of FX and trade finance services as well as related products,'' said KEB in a statement. ``We will continue to innovate our products and services and deliver top-quality financial services while reinforcing our growth engine in the market at home and abroad."
