NH NongHyup awarded for ESG management report

NH NongHyup Financial Group won an international award for its environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) report, the group announced Tuesday.

According to NH NongHyup Financial, its "2022/2023 ESG Management Report," issued last December, won Platinum at the 2022/23 Vision Awards.

Organized by the League of American Communications Professionals, a global marketing research institution, the 2022/23 Vision Awards are an international competition evaluating business reports based on different categories and industries. In this year's contest, its 23rd edition, over 1,000 companies from 20 countries competed.

NH NongHyup Financial's report scored full marks in seven out of eight evaluation criteria, including clarity and creativity. It has been publishing ESG management reports since 2022, transparently disclosing its core ESG values and key achievements to stakeholders.

"It is meaningful that the sincerity of our ESG management was recognized globally. We will continue communication with stakeholders and actively contribute to creating sustainable corporations and societies by continuing our efforts in ESG management and report publishing," a spokesperson for NH NongHyup Financial said.
