AIA Korea launched a special campaign ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's visit to Korea, including providing customers with the opportunity to meet the star players of the football team including Son Heung-min.
AIA Group is the Global Principal Partner of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, which will be visiting Korea from July 10 to 16 for a pre-season tour. The team will be playing exhibition matches against Team K League in Seoul and Sevilla FC in Suwon as part of the Coupang Play Series.
Leading up to the tour, AIA Korea will be running the Tottenham Korea Tour campaign, starting with the Tottenham Hotspur's Player of the Season event which runs until June 26. The participants should cast their votes for their player of the season among Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Cristian Romero. Winners will be drawn randomly every week amongst event participants, and those who do not win prizes will be automatically included in the next draw. The first-place winner will receive Coupang Play Series match tickets and have the opportunity to present the trophy in person at the Meet & Greet event while the team is visiting Korea.

AIA Korea, which commemorates its 35th anniversary of operating in Korea, said it will be celebrating with customers and the Korean public by running various campaigns that line up with its corporate vision of “Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.” By engaging with AIA, customers will have opportunities to win other unique experiences such as meeting the Tottenham Hotspur team, including Son Heung-min, and watching a training session. AIA will also be giving away match tickets and Tottenham Hotspur Korea Tour 2022 merchandise through these engagement campaigns.
AIA Korea's Tottenham Korea Tour campaign kicked off on June 3, and more detailed information is available on AIA Korea's official website as well as on social media.
“While we have always seen Spurs and Son as world-class athletes that embody health and wellness, in the final stages of the season they also showed us what mental resilience, teamwork and trust look like,” said Hwang Ji-ye, chief marketing officer of AIA Korea. “We look forward to welcoming Spurs to Korea and spending time with the team during their tour together with our customers and fans.”
AIA Group has been a club partner since 2013. Last November, Son and Cho So-hyun from Tottenham Hotspur Women's team joined AIA Korea as its brand ambassadors.
