Bain & Company Seoul appointed its partners Lee Hyuk-jin and Choi Yon-pyo as the firm's global directors, the global business consulting company said Monday.

Graduating from Yonsei University with a bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Administration, Lee received an MBA from the University of Chicago.
He has worked in a wide array of industries, including industrial goods and services, machinery, shipbuilding, logistics, energy, consumer goods and retail. Lee joined Bain & Company in 2003 after spending six years at Samsung working in strategic planning and sales & marketing.
As an expert in mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring, Lee has worked for various leading domestic and global private equity firms as well as strategic investors on the topics of M&A strategy, commercial due diligence, post-merger integration, post-deal full potential strategy and restructuring including spin-off and divestiture.

Joining Bain & Company in 1998, Choi has boasted his expertise in private equity and advising corporate clients on M&A topics. He led Bain & Company Seoul's M&As and private equity practices before he was appointed to the global director post.
Choi has worked for clients in various industries, spanning commercial banking, insurance, credit cards and capital, shipbuilding, media, logistics, consumer goods, food and beverages, consumer electronics, industrial goods, semiconductors, telecommunications, general and specialty retail, leisure, software and electric power utilities.
He received an MBA with the highest distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in finance. Choi is also a graduate of Seoul National University with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Apart from the firm's appointment of Lee and Choi, Bain & Company Seoul also newly nominated Koo Ja-cheon and Kim Hye-kyung as partners.
Graduating from Northwestern University in Computer Engineering, Koo joined Bain & Company in 2011. Kim joined the firm in 2004 after she graduated from Seoul National University in business administration.
