Samgyetang leaves Korea for Europe

Korea's first shipment to Europe of "samgyetang," or Korean boiled ginseng chicken soup, is getting a send-off by government officials and representatives of related companies at the Busan Port Coastal Passenger Terminal on Thursday. Among the attendees were Maniker F&G CEO Choi Jang-ho, left, the Korea Broiler Council President Kim Sang-geun, third from left, the food ministry's director general of its international cooperation bureau, Chong Hai-ryon, sixth from left, and Park Joon-ho, right, head of Harim's manufactured food business division.
