Korea, Ecuador become strategic economic partners

The Korean government's 23rd SECA came as bilateral trade last year stood at $980 million. The South American country possesses natural reserves of petroleum and rare earth minerals, and the SECA entitles the two countries to cooperate on extracting the natural resources and share them.
