Lee Jae-yeong and Lee Da-yeong, twin sisters playing for the national volleyball team and Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders, have been accused of bullying their classmates when they were in elementary and middle school.
The accuser, who identified herself as someone who attended school with the sisters, made the claim online Wednesday, saying the two even threatened her and others with a knife for “disobedience.”
“I am writing on behalf of four people, but there were more victims. We want a sincere apology from them … They cursed our parents, extorted money from us and bullied us,” the accuser wrote.
After the issue came to the fore, the accuser said the sisters contacted her and said they would visit her to apologize.
“They said they would visit for an apology and issue a statement,” she wrote. “I will take my post down following the release of the apology.”
The accuser said she and other victims are still living with the trauma. “I wanted to commit suicide because of the bullying, but they just transferred to another school without apologizing,” she wrote.
The sisters have recently risen to fame beyond the sport after appearing on a popular TV show on E Channel.
