Women tend to spend millions of won on costly hair products, but there are other ways to prevent grey hair.
Eating healthy food helps to prevent premature graying as well as thinning hair and dandruff.
“No amount of pricey shampoos can compensate for an unbalanced diet,” Harley Street specialist Sara Allison told the Daily Mail.
Doctor Jan Wadstein agreed.
“Hair requires a regular supply of protein, glucose, vitamins and minerals for health and growth,” she said. “It’s usually the first place to suffer if there's a deficiency.”
Specialists say the vitamin E and omega oils in walnuts can help reduce grey hair.
And the iron in lentils can help slow thinning hair, which is often the result of an iron deficiency. Oysters, crabs and lobsters can prevent dry scalp.
