Man burns house after lighting cigarette with gas heater
A man burnt down his house and suffered second degree facial burns after using a gas burner to light a cigarette, Munwha Ilbo reports.
According to Busanjin police, the man, surnamed Kim, 52, could not find his lighter ― so he used a portable gas burner in his living room.
When Kim had finished his cigarette, he put the gas burner under his bed before his cigarette had been extinguished properly. The fire soon spread to the bed, eventually burning down the house.
Police are investigating.
