Mock Human Rights Tribunal to Be Held
A mock human rights council is scheduled to meet on Jan. 26 in order to help young students learn more about the subject.
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea announced Tuesday it will hold the event, titled the "Mock Human Rights Council for Young Students," jointly with Korea University as an effort to help young students better understand human rights and discuss social issues.
The right to privacy, the rights of children of immigrant workers, euthanasia, military service duty, and freedom of expression will be among main topics to be discussed during the meeting.
The council will invite 200 students from high school students to apply online to participate.
