Trips to Gangwon Province for Foreigners

Foreign residents in Seoul are invited to take part in a two-day trip to Gangwon Province on Dec. 15 and 16, organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

The trip named ``Korea, Sparkling _ Look in Every Nook and Corner'' is an event for foreigners living in Korea who have not yet had a chance to experience the country's hidden beauty.

This is the second trip following the first one to three South Jeolla provincial cities in October.

Participants will visit tourist attractions along the East Sea and mountainous regions in Gangwon Province, as well as enjoy local foods.

Applications are available at https://tour2korea.com by Dec. 7.

After the trip, participants will post their travel stories, photos and video clips on the Web site to help promote the event all around the world. Their comments will also be reviewed to help KTO improve its upcoming tours.
