Yang Hyun-seok donates 500 mil. won

Yang Hyun-seok, CEO of YG Entertainment, has donated 500 million won to help families of the victims of the Sewol tragedy.

The money was donated through YG Entertainment’s public campaign, WITH.

Yang has been making various donations along with his artists, including rapper Sean, and K-pop groups Big Bang and 2NE1.

Last year, YG Entertainment joined hands with the Severance Hospital of Yonsei University to help patients with heart diseases.

Yang personally donated 100 million at that time.

He also gave away 1 billion won he received in dividends as the major shareholder of the entertainment firm.

Married in 2012, Yang is a father of two.
