Comedians share top SBS awards

Popular comedians Yoo Jae-suk and Kim Byung-man shared the top honor at the 2015 SBS Entertainment Awards Festival Wednesday.
The hosts heightened the tension, emphasizing that the top prize would be shared among the five nominees -- Yoo, Lee Kyung-kyu, Kang Ho-dong, Kim Gu-ra and Kim Byung-man.
But the festival awarded Yoo, who is featured in “Running Man” and “Same Bed, Different Dreams,” and Kim Byung-man, (“Law of the Jungle “ and “Shaolin Clenched Fists”) the grand award.
“I have jokingly mentioned that I wanted to receive this award, but I am fully aware that ‘Running Man’ has not satisfied many viewers this year,” Yoo said in his award speech.
“I give my word that that I and all staff of the show will work harder to provide viewers plenty of laughs that we could not make this year.”
Kim Byung-man, who hosts the SBS reality shows “Law of the Jungle” and “Shaolin Clenched Fists, said,
“I wanted to receive the prize in order to reward the staff who worked hard behind the scenes.”
“The staff always let the actors get treated first, although they get injured as well during filming,” he added, with tears in his eyes.
Yoo also won the popularity award.
