SHINee's Key, 2AM's Jeong Jin-woon and VIXX's N will enlist in the Army on Monday.
The members of the three different K-pop boy groups will serve in active duty in the Army after finishing eight weeks of basic military training.
All able-bodied South Korean men are required to serve in the military as the country is technically at war with North Korea.
Key posted a photo of himself with military-style hair, and a handwritten letter, on Instagram on Sunday, a day before he joins the army, to bid farewell to his fans.
“I, who have never taken a long break from work, became unable to say hello to you for the time being because I was ordered to enlist in the Army on March 4," he wrote in the letter.
"My precious time and memories that I shared with you became a driving force of my focus on the same path ... I'll be well and return after cheerfully completing the service."
The three recently released new albums and held concerts, or a fan meeting, before their enlistment.
Key dropped his first solo album, "Face," in November and has since had his first concerts as a solo singer. On Monday, he is scheduled to put out "I Wanna Be," a repackaged version of the album.
He debuted on the silver screen with the crime movie "Hit-and-Run Squad" in January.
Jeong had a concert titled "Wait!!" on Feb. 24 and later unveiled a photo of himself with a soldier hairstyle on Instagram.
VIXX's N had a series of fan meetings in South Korea on Feb. 16-17 and in Japan on Feb. 23-25.
On Sunday, he left a message reading "Thank you, my younger bros" along with a photo of himself posing with other members of the group on Twitter. (Yonhap)
