Popular indie rock band Kiha & The Faces released its farewell song "Cho Shim," which means original intention, on Thursday.

It is a pre-released song from the band's fifth and last full-length album that will go on sale in November.

The six-member band, led by vocalist Jang Ki-ha, will disband on Jan. 1.

Given the title, you may feel the song would highlight the importance of keeping one's original intention. But the lyrics are totally opposite: it tells listeners to challenge the conventional norm.

Renowned film director Yoon Jong-bin produced the song's music video that features actor Kim Sung-kyun and actress Lee Sun-bin, along with the band's leader Jang.

The band debuted in 2008 with “Cheap Coffee.” Its hit songs include “A Sort of Relationship" and "The Moon is Waxing, Let's Go."
