Qualcomm teams up with Naver Labs for IoT, self-driving, robotics

Qualcomm Technologies, a subsidiary of Qualcomm, announced Tuesday it will cooperate with Naver Labs on “internet of things,” augmented reality, robotics and autonomous driving.

The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding at Naver Labs headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and agreed to join their efforts for the technologies.

As part of their cooperation, Naver Labs will work on robotics, augmented reality, products and services for in-vehicle infotainment and automated driving based on Qualcomm Technologies' products.

Qualcomm will provide technical support for Naver Labs to successfully complete the development of products and services.

The outcome of their cooperation will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas.
