Samsung manager fires BB gun at 'underperforming' junior

A Samsung Electronics manager fired a toy BB gun at a junior staffer during a meeting in March, it has been reported.

The manager did it to show his dissatisfaction with the employee's attitude and achievement. Colleagues corroborated the account.

The manager received a warning and the victim was moved to a different department, reports said.

“The manager apologized for the shooting and the staffer accepted his apology, and the staffer didn't want the executive to be punished” a Samsung official told SBS TV news.

The BB gun was bought for an internal event.
