Tottenham Hotspur's Korean forward Son Heung-min scored a crucial late goal in a 2-2 draw with the Manchester City during the English Premier League football match on Saturday (local time).
At the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, the 24-year-old netted an equalizer in the 77th minute when Harry Kane found Son with a brilliant one-touch pass in the penalty box and Son finished past goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to make the score 2-2.
It was Son's ninth goal in the season and seventh in the league. With the goal, Son became the highest-scoring Asian in the Premier League, surpassing the previous milestone of eight goals set by Ki Sung-yueng of the Swansea City in 2014-15 season and retired Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung in 2010-11 season.
With the 2-2 draw, the Hotspur shared a point with the City and the second-placed Hotspur (46 points) remains closed within six points of league leader Chelsea while the City remains in fifth place with 43 points.
