South Korean shooter Jin Jong-oh was literally all in red when he became the world's first shooter to win a third consecutive gold medal in the men's 50 meter pistol competition at the Olympic Shooting Center in Rio de Janeiro, Wednesday.
The 36-year-old was wearing a red cap, a red wristwatch and red weightlifting shoes.
Another red item that caught the fans' attention was his red pistol.
His red pistols used in the 10 meter and 50 meter events were custom made for Jin by the Switzerland-based gun manufacturer Morini.
Inspired by Formula One driver Michael Schumacher's race car, Jin's guns are in fire red from the cartridge chamber to the muzzle, just like Schumacher's car.
"You will like red, if you get older. Just kidding," said Jin at a press conference Thursday. "I chose the color to show my tough spirit."
Jin wore a black cap when he was placed in fifth in the men's 10 meter pistol competition and achieved a come-from-behind victory in the men's 50 meter pistol competition wearing a red cap.
Jin said that he will improve his English to run for the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Athlete's Commission and will not retire after the Rio Games.
