Galaxy S smartphone favored by CEOs of top 500 businesses
Chief executive officers of major companies favored specific brands of products such as Galaxy S smartphone, Montblanc fountain pen and North Face outdoor wear. They also frequented SK gas stations and Shinhan Bank most, according to a research conducted by a monthly business magazine.
These are part of the outcome of a recent survey conducted by the New Management over what kinds of brands chief executives use most for 168 CEOs from the nation’s top 500 businesses. Chief executives like to drink Cass beer andCheoeumcheoreom soju, reliever of fatigue and hangover Ursa and wear Kumkang shoes. The list also includes such brands as Samsung Raemian apartment, Samsung Seoul Hospital and Daemyung Resort. As luxurious brands, Lotte Department Store, CJ Mall, GS25, CGV Multiplex and Grand Intercontinental Hotel topped the list. Incheon International Airport was considered as the most luxurious public facility and CEOs choose Seoul National University’s Graduate School of Business as their favorite MBA course. Among financial institutions, top corporate executives cast votes for Samsung Securities, Samsung Fire, Samsung Life and Shinhan Card. When it comes to luxuries, 26.36 percent of the questioned replied that they adhere to the watch brand most. Suits were rated as the second-favorite brand with 24.81 percent, followed by cars (12.40 percent), shoes (11.63 percent), fountainpen (10.85 percent), golf clubs (6.20 percent), bags (5.43 percent) and glasses (2.33 percent). |
