What kind of ex-husband’s behavior do women dislike most?

Men and women used to have romantic feelings for partner when they dated before marriage. But 31.1 percent of men, who divorced, said such good feelings disappeared when their former wife appeared looser than tighter, a recent survey said.

Twenty-seven percent and 11.7 percent of men interviewed said their ex-wives disappointed them when they used violence or abusive language, and tried to look for another man, respectively, said the survey of 238 men and 238 women across the country, who want to remarry.

About 37.4 percent of women, who divorced, said romantic feelings they previously had for their husbands disappeared when they resorted to violence or abusive language, the survey said.

The survey was jointly conducted by ionlyyou, an Internet site specializing in remarriages, and Bien-Aller, a company which provides marriage information, from March 29 through April 3.

Some 23.9 percent of women polled said their former husbands disappointed them as they sought another woman, whereas 10.2 percent said they disliked their ex-husband’s shabby dress.

Twenty-nine percent of men surveyed said their former wives complained most of husband being late in returning home in the evening.

About 40 percent of women interviewed said their ex-husbands complained most about their wife’s disregard for her husband’s family, the survey said.

재혼전문 사이트 온리-유가 결혼정보회사 비에나래(대표 손동규)와 공동으로 지난달 29일부터 지난 3일까지 전국의 재혼 희망 돌싱 남녀 476명(남녀 각 238명)을 대상으로 전자메일과 인터넷을 통해 ‘결혼 후 연애 기분이 사라지게 된 결정적 계기’에 대해 설문조사를 실시한 결과이다.

이 질문에 대해 남성 응답자의 31.1%가 ‘흐트러진 모습’으로 답했고, 여성 37.4%는 ‘폭언·폭행’으로 답해 각각 가장 높은 비중을 차지했다.

다음으로는 남성의 경우 ‘폭언. 폭행’(27.3%)과 ‘주변 정리정돈 소홀’(15.6%), ‘다른 남성에 한눈 팔 때’(11.7%), ‘외모관리 소홀’(7.8%) 등이 배우자에게 연애 감정이 사라지는 이유로 채택됐다. 여성들은 '폭언·폭행'에 이어 ‘다른 여성에 한눈 팔 때’(23.9%), ‘흐트러진 모습’(13.4%), ‘허접한 옷차림’(10.2%), 그리고 ‘주변 정리정돈 소홀’(8.8%) 등등이 뒤따랐다.

온리-유의 손동규 명품커플위원장은 “남성들은 배우자에게 연애할 때의 잘 다듬어지고 반듯한 모습을 기대하고, 여성들은 자상하고 보호막이 돼 주는 남편상을 꿈꾼다”라며 “이런 이상적인 모습이나 자세 등에서 벗어날 때 상대에 실망해 애정이 식게 된다”라고 설명했다.

한편 ‘전 배우자에게 귀가 따갑도록 자주 들은 잔소리’로는 남성이 ‘늦은 귀가’(29.0%), 여성은 ‘시댁에 대한 무관심’(40.8%)을 각각 첫손에 꼽았다.

그 뒤로는 남성의 경우 ‘연락을 잘 안한다’(25.6%), ‘친정에 대한 무관심’(14.6%), ‘정리정돈을 잘 안한다’(11.0%), ‘외도’(7.3%) 등이 꼽혔고, 여성은 ‘시댁에 무관심’에 이어 ‘늦은 귀가’(20.6%), ‘가사 소홀’(11.8%), ‘자기관리 미흡’(10.1%), ‘연락을 잘 안한다’(8.8%) 등이 뒤따랐다.
