South Koreans Lee Yong-dae and Shin Baek-cheol won a gold medal in the men's doubles at the German Open in Mulheim, Sunday.
The pair crashed their Japanese opponents, Kenichi Hayakawa and Kenta Kazuno, 2-0 (21-13, 21-16) in the final.
The victory amounts to Lee's second-straight-year title in the event, while Shin tasted his first championship in the Super Series.
The 20-year-old Lee, a Beijing Olympic gold medalist, teamed with Jung Jae-sung, who is now performing military service, last year.
China dominated the event, claiming four gold medals in the men's and women's singles and women's and mixed doubles.
