British media call Park Ji-sung unsung hero

British media have called Park Ji-sung of Manchester United an “unsung hero” for netting twice for his first league goals of the season in the Red Devils’ 2-1 victory, Sunday (KST).

The two brilliant finishes by midfield Park, Korea’s first English Premier League player, gave three valuable points to Manchester United against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Sunday Express said an unsung hero Park’s last-ditch winner rescued Fergie’s party, while Mail on Sunday said Fergie clang to a Park lifeline.

Sky Sports commented Park “was everywhere on the pitch and grabbed both goals,” whereas ESPN Soccer Net called Park the “last gasp hero.”

영국 언론은 한결같이 박지성을 “소리없는 영웅 (Unsung hero)”로 정의하며 박지성의 선제골과 역전골 상황을 생생히 전달했다.
