The Korea Auto Valley Operation (KAVO) began selling tickets for the Formula 1 Korean Grand Prix, Wednesday.

The warm-ups and race will be held from October from 22 to 24 at the Korean International Circuit, Yeongam.

KAVO held a press conference in Seoul and announced the ticket prices, which range from 117,000 won ($103) to 920,000 won ($794), exclusive of tax. The venue can accommodate 123,000 spectators.

Compared with other Asian nations hosting F1 events such as Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, high-end tickets for the Korea F1 event are lower at around $880.

In addition, KAVO announced that those who purchase tickets in April will be given a discount of approximately 10 percent.

Fans can purchase full-day packages or tickets for either the preliminary rounds or the race. There are eight price grades based on seat location.

KAVO has also prepared 45 corporate suites and official sponsors will have priority in reserving them.

Tickets can be purchased at the Korean F1 Grand Prix official Web site at www.koreangp.kr and at www.interpark.com and www.ticketlink.co.kr.

The overseas F1 fans can purchase tickets from the middle of April through the Korean F1 Grand Prix Web site as well as Formula 1's official Web site.
