South Korea beat Australia 3-1 in a friendly match in front of 40,215 home fans at Seoul World Cup Stadium, Saturday.

The first goal was made by foreign league Korean players. A through-pass by Lee Chung-yong, who started play in Bolton Wanderers in the English Premier League (EPL) this season, linked to striker Park Chu-young of AS Monaco, and his rifle found the net in the early fourth minute

In the 20th minute FC Seoul midfielder Ki Sung-yueng’s looped free kick found Kim Jung-woo of Sungnam Chunma in the goal area. Kim passed just near the goal post and national team defender Lee Jung-soo’s sensitive touch gave Korea a 2-0 lead.

Though Australia tried to trail Korea by Patrick Kisnorbo’s header in the 33rd minute, another EPL footballer Seol Ki-hyeon’s header for Korea’s third goal broke the Autralian’s will in the 86th.
