Park Chan-ho of the Philadelphia Phillies earned his second victory of the season in relief against the Boston Red Sox in a 11-6 win.
The Korean was called on in the sixth inning with two outs with the score tied 5-5. The 35-year-old pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing one run on a walk, two hits and three strikeouts.
While the 16-year veteran held the American League (AL) East leader in check, the Phillies went ahead in the seventh.
Phillies leadoff hitter Jimmy Rollins opened the inning with solo homer and Philadelphia would go on to score five more runs on a single, two doubles, two walks, a hit batter and one error.
Park improves his record to 3-1 and lowers his ERA from 6.40 to 6.08.
