Students at one of Asia's top colleges, the National University of Singapore (NUS), subjected freshmen to obscene and degrading acts, according to media outlet The New Paper.
Alleged activities included submerging freshmen in a pond, rolling them topless on gravel topless and other games imitating sexual intercourse.
"Whose sperm would you drink?" a female student reportedly was asked during orientation.
Those who did not wish to participate were forced to act out "uncomfortable" scenes as punishment, including a male and a female acting a rape scene between a young man and his younger sister.
"The girl had to lie on the floor, then the guy pretended to kick open a door and say, ‘Kor kor (big brother) coming.' The girl had to respond, ‘Mei mei (little sister) don't want'," an anonymous freshman told The New Paper.
"He then kicked open her legs and did push-ups while lying on top of her.
"Why in the world would they have such ideas? I wanted to get out so badly."
NUS Student Union seniors organized the event two weeks ago.
When freshmen tried to leave in disgust, seniors stepped in and told them to finish the game.
This is not the first time there have been complaints about activities at the NSU.
"At NUS, orientation activities serve to welcome freshmen and integrate them into the university community and campus life," said an NUS spokesman, avoiding the question about the humiliating activities.
The spokesperson said the freshmen orientation was voluntary.
However, many freshmen said they attended the event in fear of being placed at a disadvantage in the future.
After the activities were revealed, the NUS suspended its annual Orientation Week and began an official investigation.
Singapore's Ministry of Education has begun a separate investigation.
Quacquarelli Symonds, a university ranking institute based in the U.K., has ranked the NUS as Asia's top college for three consecutive years.
