Bird watching

Bird watching: A participant at the Ramsar Convention excursion on wetlands looks through binoculars at wild birds living in Mokpo wetlands in Changnyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, Sunday. Mokpo is a part of the larger Upo wetlands, which was added to the convention’s protection list in 1998 and is considered the most popular natural wetlands in Korea. There are bean geese, mallard, little grebe, common kingfishers, spoonbills as well as white-naped cranes living there or migrating at certain seasons.
