By Han Yoon-ji Many top-notch hotels in Seoul are readying themselves for guests seeking summer fun. Outdoor swimming pools are refilled with water and cleaned out, refreshing cocktails are on offer and stages for concerts are being built. The Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel in eastern Seoul has recently opened the Riverpark; a 50meter-long, 19 meter-wide outdoor swimming pool. Additionally, they will open a lazy river, where you can float along with the currents in a an inflated tube. A delicious buffet will be set up alongside the pools so visitors can fully enjoy their time, while a pool bar will allow them to sip strawberry daiquiri or mojitos in the cool water. Other luxurious amenities include forest bathing in a phytoncide zone, which will allow visitors to improve their health, as well as a nursery for mothers and children. Even more exciting are the concerts and parties by the Riverpark, where visitors will have the chance to win expensive prizes. Similarly, the Silla Hotel’s Habana Lounge recently had its opening night, and offers a romantic atmosphere for visitors and their loved ones. To make the evening even more special, they drape exotic flowers around female guests who enter the lounge after 8 p.m. Those who follow the dress code also are offered special cocktails. The Imperial Palace Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, has also decked out their swimming pool in Grecian style, with soaring white columns and palm trees. Guests can relax on the 30 sun tanning beds as well. The Seoul Grand Hyatt Hotel is also opening their outdoor pool, while the state-of-the-art fitness center is only open for guests and staff, which provides a luxury experience overlooking the Han River.
