The French Cultural Institue’s legendary Cine France has two more films to present in the month of June.
“The Science of Sleep” (2006), is a fantasy-comedy to screened on June 19; and a romantic comedy “Amelie” (2001) on June 26.
In particular, “Amelie,” directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, will be presented with higher quality of sound and pictures through digital remastering.
A long-running film screening takes place every Tuesday with a monthly theme. The theme for June is “Lovely French Film.”
The venue is the Artsonje Center near Anguk Station on subway line No. 3. All movies are with Korean subtitles, and the admission is 8,000 won. For more information, visit http://www.france.or.kr/cine—france/.

Foreign residents will be invited to 2012 summer concert at the Namsangol Hanok Village in central Seoul, June 21-23.
The concert will be co-hosted by the Korea Foundation and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts under the theme of “Beautiful Seoul, Amazing Korea.”
The “Korean Traditional Music” will be performed on the first day, June 21, 8 p.m. at the Namsan Traditional Theater in the village; and the “Korean Palace and Folk Dance” on June 22, 8 p.m., on the outdoor stage of the village.
The “Traditional Culture Activity Fair- Nanjang Art Market will be held on June 23, 3 p.m. in the village with chances of a variety of experiences such as eating Korean foods and wearing Korean costume.
Those who have reserved tickets will need to come to box office 30 minutes before the start of the concert to pick up tickets.
