Mayor talks about policy to Seoul Medical Center staff

By Joy J. Han

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon briefed on his city administrative policy to some 300 staff members of the city-run Seoul Medical Center in southern Seoul, Wednesday.

A spokesman said that he also heard difficulties they have faced at the center.

This is one of Mayor Oh’s dialog tours to city- funded and invested institutions on his vision, aims and philosophy. Oh is the fifth elected Seoul mayor.

First, he met with 695 officials in grades 5 and 6 of City Hall on Jan. 5.

He visited the headquarters of Metro in southern Seoul on Jan. 24 and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit(SMRT), the following day for similar purpose. A total of 760 employees from the two subway operators participated in the session with Mayor Oh. Metro is the city-invested operator of subway line Nos. 1-4 and SMRT is the operator of line Nos. 5-8.

Oh is scheduled to have similar meetings with other city-run institutions. Seoul City has 11 funded institutions and five invested corporations.
