Pop sensation Bieber accused of assaulting paparazzi

Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber, currently in the U.S. was booked for assaulting a professional celebrity photographer in Los Angeles, on Monday, local media reported.

The paparazzo was struck while taking a picture of Bieber and his girlfriend, actress Selena Gomez, at the shopping center in Calabasas, northwest of Hollywood, near where he lives, the Los Angeles Times reported.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s department of Los Angeles County said the man, unidentified, left the local hospital after his injuries were treated there, but declined to give further details about his injuries.

The county sheriff’s department investigating Bieber is planning to send a detective to interview him about the complaint.

There has been no response from Bieber’s spokesperson.

Justin Bieber, a good-looking and outstanding singer, debuted in 2009 and has been gaining popularity in the U.S.

그는 로스앤젤레스 카운티 소방국 소속 응급차에 실려 병원으로 옮겨져 치료를 받은 뒤 퇴원했지만 얼마나 다쳤는지는 알려지지 않았다.

경찰은 형사를 보내 비버와 면담 조사를 벌일 계획이다.

그러나 비버의 대변인은 언론에 아무런 대응을 않고 있다.

캐나다 출신인 비버는 2009년 데뷔해 곱상한 외모와 빼어난 노래 실력으로 미국에서 큰 인기를 얻었고 할리우드에서 멀지 않은 칼라바사스에서 살고 있다.
