‘6 Guitars‘ comes to Seoul
By John Redmond The hit one man comedy, “6 Guitars”, from North America will be performed live in at Moon Night in Itaewon on April 13-14. This hilarious, musical experience from Chase Padgett will begin both evenings at 9 p.m. sharp. 6 Guitars features Chase Padgett playing six different characters that each play a different genre of music; blues, jazz, rock, classical, folk, and country. Each character plays songs and tells the stories of what made them into the musicians they are including their first encounter with guitar playing and what music really means to us all. The show has won accolades across North America, which at its premiere at the Orlando International Fringe Festival won Best in Venue, Best Original Play, Best Musician, Best Male Actor, Best Solo Show, and Producer of the Year. Since then it’s traveled extensively, recently concluding its 2011 tour with a month of Off Broadway performances. The show has been praised by the foreign media. “Chase Padgett's Six Guitars is nothing short of a storytelling masterpiece. The hour-long play will leave you doing two things: laughing until you cry, and lifting your jaw to its proper position.” states The Edmonton Sun.
