LG Sakers center Seo Jang-hoon, 38, and his wife, newscaster Oh Jung-yeon, 29, are to go their separate ways. Oh has filed for divorce with the Seoul Family Court, according to news reports.
The two met in 2008 when Oh was hosting a basketball show and they married a year later. They have no children. Seo, a graduate of Yonsei University, is one of the tallest Korean players at 2.07 meters. He further distinguished himself in 2008 when he achieved 10,000 points in a total of 462 games over 11 seasons.
Oh made her debut as a newscaster at the state-run KBS in 2004.
The two have not made any public statements regarding the termination of their three-year marriage.
