K-pop group SHINee will release a mini album, “Sherlock” on March 21, according to its agency SM Entertainment.
The seven new tracks will be available globally prior to sales via various portals like iTunes. The new album also marks a comeback for the five-member boy band after producing hit singles in Korea and Japan. In Korea, their last full-length album was “Hello” in 2010.
SM Entertainment is uploading members’ promotional images on https://shinee.smtown.com. In the images, Onew, Key, Minho, Jonghyun and Taemin appear fragile. In particular the photos of rapper Minho and vocalist Taemin resemble ancient Greek renderings of young boys – shirtless, slender with light-colored hair.
The band came onto the scene in 2008 with the single, “Replay.” In Japan, the boys made their debut in June 2011 with a Japanese version of the same track followed by their first Japanese studio album, “The First” in December.
