Seoul City will host a concert for migrant workers and multicultural families, with the details of the show being planned and presented by citizens.

The city said Wednesday that “Hanmaeum Concert” will be held at Mullae Art Factory in Yeongdeungpo on Saturday between 4 and 6 p.m.

The concert comes after a tweeter’s suggestion to offer cultural programs to foreign workers and multicultural families.

The city government has collected citizens’ opinions and suggestions through its Twitter address, @seoulmania, and this is the third project selected among the social network service proposals.

Other tweeters and citizens have joined to offer showcasing their talents, preparing performances and magic shows.

A firefighters’ rock band, 119 TwoInch, will perform music, while Ewha Womans University’s dance club “Action” will present a dance performance.
