Ballad-singer Lee Su-young is poised to marry Oct. 5 in a Gangnam wedding hall, T Entertainment announced Monday.
The 31-year-old star will marry her boyfriend of one year, who is an office worker at a Korean company though not many details have been uncovered.
``They are being extremely cautious because the groom does not wish to be thrust into the spotlight,’’ said a spokesman from the singer’s management company. ``(Lee) will directly express her thoughts in a radio program.’’
Lee debuted on the entertainment scene with her hit song ``I Believe.’’ Since then she has released nine albums, five mini-albums and contributed to several original soundtracks. Lee is recognized as one of the most popular Korean entertainers.
