Popular girl band Girls' Generation will hold their first Asian tour starting next month.

The nine-member group will hold their own concert for the first time in Seoul, and move on to China, Thailand and other Asian countries, its agency SM Entertainment said Wednesday,

``We are all excited and also nervous about holding our first solo concert. We will prepare to the utmost and offer the best performance ever for our fans,'' the group said.

They will offer some of their best known hits, including ``Gee'' and ``Genie,'' and put on individual performances fans haven't seen on stage yet.

Making their debut in 2007, the girl group has become one of the best-known and popular bands in Korea. Led by Tae-yeon, the group boasts talented members who have been exuding their charms through TV commercials, dramas and entertainment programs.

The Girls' Generation's concert will run from Dec. 19 to 20 at the Fencing Stadium, Olympic Park, southern Seoul. Tickets are available from www.gmarket.co.kr.
