Red Cross award to Swedish ambassador:

• Bangladesh

Conference on Trade and Investment

The Bangladeshi Embassy in Korea, in conjunction with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), invites Korean businesses that have an interest in investment and trade in Bangladesh to a conference.

A Bangladeshi investment promotion delegation will attend the conference.

The delegation, consisting of Brig. Gen. Jamil Ahmed Khan, executive chairman of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), former Chairman Brig. Gen. Ashraf Abdullah Yussuf of BEPZA, is going to explain the business environment and regulations in Bangladesh.

The conference will take place at KCCI in Seoul Wednesday and at the Korea Federation of Textile Industries, Friday.

Bangladeshi Ambassador Shahidul Islam will also attend.

Photo Exhibition

The Japanese Cultural and Information Center will present works of a Japanese photographer Nakahodo Choji from May 13 through 16 at the Silk Gallery in the center.

Themed "Therapy," the exhibition will feature 40 works by Choji.
