Dear editor,
I have long thought that oral history is a dangerous thing, and I now appear to have fallen into the trap myself.
With regard to your correspondent Sunny Lee's interview with me, which you published on April 15 under the headline of ``Nuclear Summit and Missed Opportunity in Pyongyang,'' David Staub, formerly of the State Department, has said that I misrepresented his views.
I accept Straub's correction, and would be grateful if you could publish this apology. This in no way reflects on your reporter's account, which was an accurate presentation of my ― mistaken ― views.
