Let’s Change Bad Driving Manners

Listen

Dear editor,

Korea has become well-known in foreign countries for many things such as electronic products, dramas and healthy Korean food. As a result, more and more foreigners are visiting Korea. They are fascinated and attracted by our country's beauty.

However, we have many problems that should not be seen and experienced by people from other countries. One of them is the terrible driving manners of Koreans!

Recently many people around the world were shocked by a user created content (UCC) on YouTube. The UCC was about our present driving situation which contains, noise and bad manners of many drivers. Many Korean drivers don't hesitate to continue their trip in spite of red lights.

Many people honk their car horns to get others to move quickly. People who saw this video criticized this behavior and showed their disappointment in Koreans.

As a Korean, I am very ashamed about these happenings on our roads. Your readers need to recognize their bad manners that ignore others' safety on our roads.

I am very proud of being Korean and I love Korea very much. To make the country more beautiful, I think that we need to change our bad driving manners. I really hope that Korea will become a country that is loved by people from all around the world.
