Dear editor,
This letter is in response to a June 15 front page article, “Apple’s poor after-sales service angers users.”
I think the story is a bad piece of journalism and I feel compelled to write this message.
The article contains not a single verifiable comment from the accused (Apple Korea). It is also wholly based on the comments of one anonymous person identified merely as "Yamako."
There are no specifics on how many users are affected just an unattributed comment that the figure is higher in Korea. The article also states the Korea Consumer Agency is planning to test an iMac but, again, no attribution.
The story states opinions throughout and uses loaded language. The story may be true but the way it is written and edited puts its credibility in severe doubt.
