I lived in Michigan, U.S., when I was 6-7 years old.

My father recently told me that he was afraid of racial discrimination. Fortunately we didn't have bad experiences at that time.

However, before reading your article, I noticed that the discrimination would happen more frequently in Korea.

My dad told me that it might be caused by the racial homogeneity, which was stressed in the past education.

I also thought that we might not be confident of ourselves so that we intended to respect the people from advanced countries than ourselves.

The most important thing is that we remind ourselves that people on the earth are all equal. It might be too common, but we tend to forget it.

Those who live in Korea with other nationalities are also very precious members of the families somewhere outside of Korea.

They are a dad or a mom or a son or daughter of someone.

No one has a right not to respect coexistence of various cultures in the country, I believe.

I hope all our neighbors would think again that they are also our neighbors.
