Korea's leading figure skater Kim Yu-na could be awarded the gold medal from the 2014 Sochi Olympics because of the Russian team doping scandal.
Gold medalist Adelina Sotnikova is among 28 Russian athletes whose urine samples were likely tampered with at the Olympics facing an International Olympic Committee (IOC) doping investigation.
If Sotnikova is found guilty, her gold medal will likely pass to Kim, who won the silver medal.
Sotnikova's win was controversial after she received five points more than Kim despite showing what many claimed showed skills lacking to Kim's.
Sotnikova has not won a gold medal since the Sochi Olympics.
The new wave of evidence against the Russian Winter Olympic team is based on information from World Anti-Doping Agency investigator Richard McLaren.
He detailed extensive state-backed doping that included switching athletes' urine samples for clean ones to be tested at the laboratory at Sochi.
