A man in his 40s was convicted Friday of sexually assaulting his girlfriend and forcing her to have “From now on, I will only love this guy” tattooed on her buttocks after suspecting she had an affair.

Seoul Central District Court sentenced the man to three years in prison and to 120 hours in an anti-sexual harassment program.

“The nature of the crime committed by the offender is not light,” the court said in a ruling statement. “The victim is not only in great physical but also emotional pain after receiving harsh sexual harassment.”

Other crimes the man committed included taking naked photos of the woman and threatening to release them on the Internet. The offender also received 31 million won ($26,175) in the process of blackmailing her.
