Park Yu-chun, the scandal-ridden member of popular K-pop boy band JYJ, claimed Friday that the rape charges filed against him are false accusations, pledging to stop his entertainment activities if he is found guilty.

According to the police, a third and fourth woman filed separate complaints earlier in the day claiming that Park sexually assaulted them each in 2014 and 2015.

The third complainant, whose identity was withheld, filed the case with the Gangnam Police Station, claiming Park raped her in the bathroom of his house in June 2014. Another woman also claimed that he raped her in the bathroom of a karaoke bar in February 2015, the police said.

The third woman claimed the incident took place after she, along with Park and other companions, moved to Park's house from a local bar in southern Seoul where they had been drinking, according to police. The two did not know each other previously.

Just Thursday, another woman filed a similar complaint against Park, saying she was raped by him in the bathroom of a bar in December 2015.

The cases came only a few days after a woman in her 20s first filed a police report last week, saying she was sexually assaulted by Park earlier this month in a bathroom located within a barroom where she works.

She later dropped the charges and said there was no coercion involved.

Police said they will investigate the details of the latest allegations raised. On Wednesday, they said they would continue the investigation into the first case filed last week as sexual assault cases are subject to punishment regardless of whether or not the victim dropped the charges.

Park is currently serving his military duty as a public agent at a local district office in Seoul. (Yonhap)
